Super bowl Half Time show…

Up first just to clear the air. I am not an old fogy…I stay current on music, news, technology, etc. So even though I am not a big sports fan I was at my son in laws house so the game was on. Now I have watched the halftime shows before and like a lot of other people that aren’t interested in the game I will watch the commercials or catch them on line the next day. But it so happens I was present during the game and got to watch the half time “Show”.

 As far a Beyonce’s performance. It was dance routine to canned music. Lots of light and flash….No substance. She may have actually sang 20 words from her prerecorded songs pumped through the P.A…The only thing missing was Dionne Warwick introducing her and the other solid gold dancers…

I will admit she is good on the eyes but hell, any old penthouse or playboy back in the day would have done the same thing for me…I won’t say she is a talentless, but i will say the half time show was lame as hell and it didn’t have to be a classic rock band like “The Who” or KISS. Or Madonna for that matter. But when are we as an “Audience” going to to demand people that entertain us to be “real”. She was nothing more than a “mime”. Like most other artists these days. They lip sing and play over prerecorded music and we call it art…

I don’t want people to hate on her or anyone for that matter. But what I would like is for them to be real. Stop the faking it and you young kids stop eating spoon feed candy coated junk. You should think more of your selves than that…
