10:00am Downtown Walking Tour, led by Frank Nally
A one hour guided tour of points of historical and legendary significance to Henderson’s history. Meet at the Festival Information tent in Audubon Mill Park. This tour starts with a pictorial tribute to W.C. Handy in the Community Room at The Depot and continues throughout historic downtown Henderson. Learn about Handy and other contributors to American music history including Grandpa Jones, the Rev. Joe Hatfield, Jim Owen and learn about the architecture and history of some of Henderson’s most beautiful homes and businesses. This walking tour is fairly level and wheelchair accessible.

As a wrap up to the Handy Blues and Barbecue Fest, St. Paul’s will once again taking their 10:00 worship on the street Sunday, June 21. There will be special music and an informal homily that morning, and barbecue lunch following on the lawn.
