BandMaid…This band freakin’ ROcks!
Japan has the market cornered on strange fetish’s and other things. Just do a quick Google search and see for yourself. But don’t be fooled or turned off? by these girls dressed as pretty maids all in a row… They are thumping! Slick grooves and no cookie monster vocals! It sounds better than most of the new metal stuff that we hear over here in America.
KISS unplugged 2015. Ouch. Gene calls out Paul
on his vocals..
The band KISS has been a life long “hero” band of mine. Well since my little brother somehow talked our Grandmother into buying KISS ALIVE I way back in the day. I remember clearly her asking David if this was the band that sang about “nasty” stuff. He said it wasn’t so that album went into the shopping cart instead of back to the album rack. Then a few months later we saw KISS in concert in 1978 and everything changed! We were totally hooked! Grabbing everything up from magazines to giant wall posters. KISS could do no wrong! I even rushed home from passing out Western Auto flyers at BigK to watch the debut of “KISS Meets the Phathom of the Park”! Quite possibly one of the campiest movies of the 70’s but I loved it.
We know time changes everything. People get old. I, like little Jackie Paper, grew up too. But I still like KISS and have seen them several times thru out the years. But recently Paul’s vocals have deteriorated to the point that he needs to either take a long break, or retire. Let us remember KISS as they were. The “Kings’ of the Night Time World”. Not as they are now. It’s sad… It’s sad that my Hero’s grew old too.
Here is a recent unplugged set. See for your self 🙁

New video from Tsunami found
This is incredible! You have to watch it all. It’s strange how complacent the people are at first. During the first four minutes they are merely looking at a dry river bed casually and strolling about the street. After that they notice a larger wave come in. The curious look over the walls as small boats are battered still not realizing how in danger they really are. About eight minutes into the video the camera man is seeking safety on a tall building. Around the nine minute mark entire cities are flowing by in the water. You will see a large house headed for where the camera man is but gets caught in the trees in front of him. The water just keeps coming…
This is an awesome display of mother nature at her best/worst.
