Dec. 7th 1941 Forgive but never forget….
1,177 sailors lost their lives on the U.S.S. Arizona on that fateful day. That’s a lot of sons, husbands and fathers that never came home. It was supposed to be another peaceful Sunday morning when Japan sent squadrons of Japanese Zero’s and torpedo planes into Pearl harbor to try and cripple our fleet. There were a lot of unsung heroes that day. Men and Women that risked their own lives in order to help our wounded. An interesting fact is that as the survivors pass away, they are being interned back into the hull of their ship so they can be with their shipmates that never got out.
